Recreo is located near Playa Rajada and the town of El Jobo in the North Pacific Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, about 1 hour and 15 minutes northwest of Liberia's Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport. Round-trip airport transportation to the resort is available for an additional fee; call the hotel directly to make arrangements. San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport is about a 40-minute plane ride away from Liberia, Costa Rica, or about a 4-hour drive.
