When this hotel’s history repeated itself, it added a few new twists.
Built in 1914, The Davenport Hotel & Tower gracefully combines the elegance and grandeur of the past with the modern conveniences of today. The grand hotel underwent a massive renovation in 2000, restoring it to its original glory and also adding a few new perks, such as Spa Paradiso, the Grand Pennington ballroom and Palm Court Grill. Guests can pass the time by admiring the Hall of Doges ballroom, taking a dip in the indoor pool, smelling the roses at The Flower Shop or wandering through history on a walking tour of the grounds.
