... they'd be demure. The Forbes Five-Star Award has gone to Woodlands Inn and its Dining Room seven years running, yet gracious hospitality and modesty prevail. (Regardless of the sumptuous, stately guest rooms or the effortlessly efficient staff.) Even the exquisite afternoon tea service and the surrounding 42 acres of lush green palmetto groves and majestic magnolias can’t prompt Woodlands Inn to arrogance. This is the South, after all, and boastfulness is unseemly.
